Hype Culture Character
The Challenge
Streetwear and Car culture are big business and with the rise of the Hype scene, limited drops, scarcity tactics & experiential events becoming ever more prevalent in 2026, it's essential for brands to make immediate impact and create a buzz during the short window all eyes are on them at events and brand activations. The challenge was to create a design concept for an iconic inflatable character sitting on top of a 40ft shipping container that would be a striking centrepiece to any event as well as being able to hold it's own and draw attention as a supporting piece at larger events. It was essential the inflatable would be quick and easy to deploy and look good from every angle.
The Solution
A one-of-a-kind patchwork character designed to be an immediate photo op piece from the moment it's deployed. Main sponsor takes centre stage on the container and character's clothing with supporting brands / collabs branding forming patchwork panels and graphics all over the piece. The design takes influences from Japanese & American styling incorporating subtle toned down red, white and blue panels. A series of anchor points are located on the roof of the container for stability and the air inlet and fan are all cleverly hidden through a hole in the roof of the container to keep all workings internal and the external view seamless.
